If you spend most of your working life receiving viral videos via e-mail when you should be doing something useful, you need to check out iFILM. Here, you can download a barrage of trailers, TV clips, music videos, adverts and other superfluous stuff that will amuse you for up to a full half-minute.

While the Top 100 chart is often laden with thrill- seeking footage, such as an Apache helicopter failing to get a lock on a Lotus car, it is almost always topped by music videos filled with scantily clad women. On the news front, there is also a separate section for Hurricane Katrina clips, both harrowing and amusing.

Most, however, will visit this site to tickle their funny bones. The site also has a predilection for hoarding the finest Mr T clips — watch the gold-chained hulk sing a rap song dedicated to his mum.

Among the best clips is Dominic Ranz Ebarle Errazo’s cameo at this year’s National Spelling Bee. The 13-year-old does a perfect impression of Napoleon Dynamite when asked to spell the word “Chinook”: “Do they have large talons?” Obviously the boy has skills, which, as the mighty Dynamite himself observed, will render him irresistible to the opposite sex in later life. Possibly.
