1. This competition will run on www.timesonline.co.uk from 9pm on March 18, 2008 until midday on May 19, 2008.

2. Closing date for entries is midday on May 19, 2008.

3. Competitions are open to UK and Eire residents aged 16 and over, excluding employees of Transworld Publishers and Times Newspapers Limited (“TNL”), relatives of employees of Transworld or TNL or of their respective parent, subsidiary or affiliated companies, their agents or any other person connected to this competition.

4. Entry is free but entrants should be aware that they may be subject to local call charges depending on their own individual arrangements for Internet access.

5. One entry per person. Eligible entries must be by the prescribed email route and entrants must include their name, age, telephone number and email address.

6. By entering, all eligible entrants agree to abide by each and all these terms and conditions. TNL reserves the right, with or without cause, to exclude entrants and withhold prizes for violating any of these terms and conditions. TNL reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Any amendments will be published on the Website.

7. Each entrant must submit one photograph in jpeg format to a maximum of 10MB in size, with a minimum pixel width of 450 for landscape photographs or 450 pixels for portrait photos. Each photo should be accompanied by an explanation detailing which Pratchett character they have dressed up as and why they like that character in no more than 50 words, together with their name, age, telephone number and email address. The photograph should be the entrants own work. Entrants represent and warrant that their entry does not infringe the privacy rights, copyright or any other rights of any person. Obscene or inappropriate photographs will not be accepted and TNL reserves the right to reject any photographs for any reason. Entries must be submitted by email to books@timesonline.co.uk. Judges from Transworld will select their top 10 entries after the closing date from all the entries received and they will select the winner from these entries. The judges’ decisions are final. No correspondence will be entered into.

8. Winners will be notified either by email or telephone within 28 days of the competition closing date. In the event that a winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable period after the draw, Transworld reserves the right to select another winner.

9. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed, misdirected, damaged or undelivered. Illegible entries will be disqualified. Transworld and TNL shall not be responsible for technical errors in telecommunications networks, internet access or otherwise preventing entry to any competition.

10. There is one prize. The winner will be the entrant whose photograph, in the opinion of the judges, demonstrates the greatest flair, technique and originality.

11. The winner will receive an iPod pre-loaded with the full audio back catalogue.

12. Transworld shall bear the cost of post and packing and the prize will be delivered within 6 weeks of the closing date of the competition. The prize is as stated and is non-transferable. No cash alternatives will be offered. If due to circumstances beyond Transworld’s control Transworld is unable to provide the stated prize, Transworld reserves the right to award a substitute prize.
