Chak
De! India (Go for it India!)
"The King Khan is back on the big screen and this time he has sixteen
women under his wings"
Cheni
Kum
"Age disparity in relationships has been the theme of many Hollywood
movies but this is the first major Bollywood film to address the subject"
Gandhi
My Father
"Moving without being manipulative, amd largely devoid of the
bolly-clichés so typical of the formula. A worthy companion piece to
Attenborough’s Oscar classic"
Guru
"Ratnam’s film is a warm, intimate and moving portrait of a perhaps
flawed visionary who may have been both a genius and a thug"
Om
Shanti Om
"Shah Rukh Khan is back, and this time we get two of him, and generous
gratuitous shots of his new six pack"

Eklavya
– The Royal Guard
"Set in present day Rajasthan, India, this stunningly beautiful film is a
worthy attempt at commercial Bollywood cinema"
Laaga
Chunari Mein Daag: Journey of a Woman
"This take on the 'prostitute with a heart of gold' chick flick will
probably shock traditional audiences. Although the plot-line is a Bollywood
staple the protagonist actually sleeps with her clients"
Life
in a Metro
"Shilpa Shetty's first release, after her Celebrity Big Brother win,
examines the complexities of relationships in India’s zany metropolis, Mumbai"
Phir
Milenge (We Will Meet Again)
"A worthy attempt by the Mumbai industry to address a still taboo topic
in the widest commercial context with three major stars"
Provoked
"Aishwarya Rai finally delivers a performance which is not only moving
but worthy of the fiery material"

i am so upset that Marigold did not receive a better reception. The music and the performances were top notch and the American Director tried so hard to pay homage to the Bollywood movies he so obviously loves
