I believe that Cubans would maintain that rather than 'Fidel Castro sealing off Cuba from the rest of the world' it was the US embargo that did this. Cuban musicians play all over the world - I have seen many in London over the past years. Also, Cuban medical and teaching professionals are operating in many developing countries, so this demonstatres that this statement is basically untrue....
