2 for 1 tickets to Singin' In The Rain, this coming Monday. Book now

The Spice Girls yesterday announced the briefest of world tours — 11 dates, taking in Beijing and Buenos Aires, but with only one date in Britain, probably at the 02 arena in December.
The announcement was made with all five of the band members present at a media event in the arena on the Isle of Dogs, East London.
Fans were told to register on a Spice Girls website for the chance to buy tickets. Venues and ticket prices remained a mystery, however.
The Spice Girls will earn about £10 million each from the shows, tour sponsorship and a behind-the-scenes television documentary that will be sold around the world.
Geri Halliwell admitted that “nostalgia” was a factor in the reunion, but declared: “Money is not an issue. We’re doing this because it’s a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to be a Spice Girl again. Who would turn that down?”

i think they should stay as a band after tours. because they have wided their deal, with extra dates. e.g. so they should stay as a pop group, sing new songs and make a great britain band again... GIRL POWER 4 EVA!!

Sorry girls, but the prices for the reunion show are ridiculously expensive. There are thousands of fans that cannot afford not even the cheapest tickets which start at $200 in America. Can something be done to please everyone who wishes to be there for this event, and can't, because of the bloating prices?
My family and I were exited about this reunion, but now we feel let down. We can't afford it.
Chris Martinez, Jersey City, New Jersey USA
SOOO gald to see the spice girls back together, but I am worried about the ticket prices and if I will be one of the lucky people to get to buy the tickets!!
I think that they should of done concerts all around the U.k. so people from the up north dont have to travel all the way down to london!!
But i hope i get the tickets..its good to see the girls back to give the world some world some girl power for the very last time..I am so excited..!!!

I really wouldn't worry about there being just the one date in the UK. It''s just like the take that reunion tour, it started with very few dates and when they sold out they added a load more. They are just protected their reputation. they have to sell out this gig and then im positive they will release further dates after.... dont panic!!!

I think that they should have organised more tour date around the UK and i think it is shamefull that they are starting their tore off in America. I went to see the Spice Girls when i was aroung 8 yrs old, i am now 18 now and if the tickets are expensive how are we meant to afford the tickets. We will be in dept already with university loans!
I am glad they are back together though and i also do not believe they are not doing it for money
I think that the only way to get tickets by applying on their website is disgraceful and i think they should be on sale everywhere, not a matter of chance and Luck
Sian, Wrexham, Wales
I've heard rumours tickets will be in the region of £200 each..surely this can't be right? How is that giving back to the fans?
You have to register on there site and wait until 1st October to get an email to buy tickets..then you have 72 hours to buy them... are they gonna release prices before hand... how many of there actually fans could afford that price
Adan, Exeter,
My daughter and I are a fan of the spice girls but they say they are giving back to there fans but what are they really giving back to there fans in this country just one gig I think it is shamfull of them after all it was the fans in this country that put them at the top and to kick start it of in america to me that says it all WHAT A DISAPOINTMENT FOR BRITISH FANS
lynn, preston, england

er - the O2 is in Greenwich - right next to the David Beckham soccer academy - not on the isle of dogs.
I hope you don't get lost on your way to the show!
old spice, Greenwich, UK
I believe that the spice girls are not doing this new tour for the money, so are they donating their profits to charity
olive bates, liverpool,
hey! we preformed a sweet remix of several of your songs for our high school talent show last december. it was really awesome!! we really think you should swing by joplin, missouri on your way from las vegas to new york and have a concert somewhere within driving distance of southwest missouri. everyone here still absolutely loves you guys and your music!! we still listen to it regularly. it will disappoint everyone from the midwest if we never are able to see you in concert. our lives will never be complete. WE LOVE YOU!!
xoxoxo!!
GIRL POWER!
spice girls forever!

My daughter was eagerly awaiting news of the Spice Girls Tour yesterday. As A loyal fan she was very upset that they have announced 1 date in England on the 15th December. This is not a thankyou to their fans. They should have arranged more concerts in the UK. Who ever organised this should have known that Take That are doing a concert on the 15th December at the MEN so as we already have tickets for this concert we cannot go even if we were lucky enough to get tickets in the draw!
Jan, Wigan, UK
Great news about the Spice Girls getting back together for a farewell tour. I never got to see them live when they were together last time but I will make sure I go this time.
They were brilliant, great music and did alot for us girls (and women).
GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL,

how can you justifie charging between 2 and 3 hundred pounds a ticket 2 go and see the spice girls reunion when they say it is'nt about the money and they are doing it for their fans when most of the fans where little girls and are now teenagers, that could not possibly afford that sort of money let alone familys. i think that these sort of prices are unjustified and riping there true fans of. i think its all about their celebrity fans that theyve made along the way and not the working class people.
