Amy Winehouse has pulled out of a concert with The Rolling Stones in Dusseldorf tonight.
The singer, who was admitted to hospital after a drug overdose last week, has also cancelled her Stones support slot on Wednesday August 15 in Hamburg.
A spokesman from her record label, Island Records, confirmed the star will not be playing either gig but declined to comment on the reason for the cancellations.
Winehouse, who is currently recovering at a hotel in Hampshire, told a tabloid yesterday that she was admitted to hospital after consuming drugs and alcohol, but was now “fine” and keen to get back to work.
She told News Of The World she had fallen unconscious after three days of drug taking and drinking.
“I was so out of control. It just happened. It shocked me. I’m sorry – I just don’t know what got into me.”
Winehouse, who is famous for the song Rehab, said she plans to make changes in her lifestyle.
“I’ve scared myself this time. I was all over the place. I know things have got to change. I have to sort myself out,” she said.
The cancellation of her Rolling Stones support slots in Germany will further disappoint European fans, who were let down last week when the singer pulled out of the Oya music festival in Oslo and a concert in Copenhagen.
The singer is scheduled to perform at the V Festival in Essex and Staffordshire on August 18 and 19.
