At 28 going 29 i can say i literarily grew up up on Michael. He's inspired a lot of people around the world and i believe he still does. The amazing part about him is that despite his foibles, people have learned to separate his art from his person. The fact that he is acknowledged as a true entertainer cannot be taken from him for ever.

As a legendary entertainer almost clocking 50 (he'll be 50 in Aug '09) it's heart warming that he still has the ability to dish out what he knows how to do best - pure entertainment. We love Michael not only because of his songs, but because he is true "A-List Star" no matter what might happen to his person.

I would love Jacko to make a successful comeback, but I truly believe this and many of these posted comments to be a huge publicity drive by his marketing team. I have been an M.J. fan since I was nine years old, and will always be one. I think--along with some of my friends--that nearly all of his songs have been catchy and/or easy to listen to. This includes Michael's duet with Paul Mccartney, The GIrl Is Mine. The song was released around 1982 and won a grammy. It has been twenty five years since Thriller was released and none of the songs on the album have been remixed and re-released...until now. This new album is his chance to make an extreme comeback that could, potentially, save his career. Michael's "new" song tells me that he can sing but doesn't want to, or his voice isn't "up to par". Don't get me wrong, I like the new remix. Maybe that's just one of all the songs on the album where he doesn't actually sing it himself. But if all the songs on THRILLER: REMIXED are like this one, the critics (and fans) will abuse him until they have nothing bad left to say.

Well, I'm pleasantly surprised; I expected the comments to be lambasting MJ for his foibles (real or perceived). Instead, I'm reading honorariums to a living man. And one with a checkered history. I'm not a huge MJ fan; I've enjoyed some of his stuff, and endured some of it. He has talent; I suspect whatever genre he applies himself to, he'll do well. I think hip-hop is for the birds, frankly, but MJ will rise to the occasion. I hope past problems do not rise up anymore. Stop telling people he is "... ONCE known as the King of Pop it's.. his first attempt to re-enter the music industry was a disaster..." That`s not true. Many people love & respect the guy.

The negative stories that have been told about this man are of monumental proportion. It is in fact that he was always ruthlessly attacked by media.
