She has yet to release an album, but Nigerian-born singer Nayo is already a hit in club land.
Like Sade, who she grew up listening to and is frequently compared to, Nayo’s smooth tracks, African Girl and Desert Storm, have been seized upon by DJs and remixed for the dance floor.
But the UK-based singer is hoping to find a wider audience when her debut album, African Girl is released on March 10.
Raised against a background of Nigeria’s volatile struggles, she began writing music at ten. She's now working with some of the music industry’s biggest players. Writer Pat Leonard, who has worked for Madonna, and producer Chris Rojas who has worked for Pink have both contributed to her album.
Here, we bring you four exclusive tracks from African Girl.

The African Storm download is actually a duplicate of Mr So & So
Chris, Stavanger, Norway
The only trouble is that you cannot download, "Desert Storm". The link for "Desert Storm" re-downloads "Mr So & So". This needs sorting out.
Marc, Paris,
i think she is a star on the rise
Richard, London, Uk
I love Nayo!!! But Desert Storm isn't downloading. When you click it it says you're downloading Mr. So and So. :(
