WHAT: Eel-Pie oddballs return with the first single off their as-yet-unreleased second album, showing they’re just as kooky as ever; still willingly opting to tap, strum and jangle everything and the kitchen sink in order to reel out another distinctive prog-rock spectacular.

THE HYPE: The band sounds 'a bit like Shane MacGowan picking the crumbs out of Merlin’s beard on some seriously good speed ', according to NME.

WE SAY: Despite still being essentially lunatics; Mystery Jets have created an unusually accessible pop track, complimented sublimely by fledgling acoustic singer Laura Marling cooing ‘Playing games, people move so fast/ Don’t need eyes to see if someone’s got a heart of glass’

IF YOU ONLY NEED TO KNOW ONE THING: Up until the summer of last year, the band was completed by vocalist Blaine Harrison’s father Henry on rhythm guitar and keys. However, recently he's decided to lay off the touring and let the 4 boys take the steering reins.

WHEN CAN I GET MY HANDS ON IT: ‘Young Love’ is out on March 10th, preceding the sophomore album ‘29’ which is expected out on March 29th.
