WHAT: Gleaming pleasure pop from Preston's finest and youngest!

THE HYPE: "Team Waterpolo have crashed out of the blue so perfectly formed they might well have been designed by Steve Jobs" NME

WE SAY: In this fledgling indie band from Lancashire you can hear all the gleaming guitar riffs and jubilant expressive vocals of a young The La's circa There She goes. One to watch, it's safe to say.

IF YOU ONLY NEED TO KNOW ONE THING: They have a professional DJ in the band. Also, despite their handful of catchy tunes already up on their Myspace, the band are less than a year old forming in July 2007.

WHEN CAN I GET MY HANDS ON IT: Unfortunately there’s only a limited 7” available to buy just now, but with the buzz surrounding Team Waterpolo, they’re bound to sign to a label any day now and there’ll be singles coming out left right and center.
