We've made some changes
to The Sunday Times

This boisterous slab of country-tinged rock boasts some poetic Jersey imagery and several decent, sometimes inspired, songs such as the title track, the string-laden Last to Die and the refreshingly chaotic first single Radio Nowhere. The late flowering of the Boss’s career shows no sign of fading.

as a masive springsteen fan for many years, ive got to be honest about his new magic album. i think its very poor, ive played it three times in two days and i still cant get into it, granted the song, radio nowhere, is ok and i do like the title song, but overall i cant see myself playing it as much as i did with all the other , albums, cd's. when i knew he had a new cd coming out, i was like all his other fans, i just couldnt wait, but two days after buying it, i feel, empty inside. so its one of two things, either bruce as gone off the boil, or after 30 years, im getting a little too old his music.

The record is an extraordinary piece of work especially coming on the heels of The Rising, a record where Bruce answered a hurt America.
Easily America's greatest songwriter since Bob Dylan, he has nevered wavered from telling the truth, brutal as it sometimes has been, about his beloved homeland.
Has there been a more beautiful song than "Girls Witrh The Summer Clothes" written this year. I think not, bravo Bruce.

Nice to see "Magic" get a good rating, but really, how can 5 lines in all honesty be called a "review"?
