Madonna: Hard Candy

On the brink of a huge ten-year deal with the concert promoters Live Nation, it's no surprise that Madonna should design her 11th studio album as a giant billboard for her formidable commercial charms. With production and co-writing duties split between the pop Midas Pharrell Williams and the Timberlake/ Timbaland dream team, Hard Candy isn't a record that runs many risks - which for Madonna, the shape-shifting scourge of the puritanical, is shocking in itself. Split between updated True Blue pop and the sticky disco confections that fuelled Confessions on a Dance Floor, this is a record that showcases Madonna as she currently wants to be seen: slick, streetwise and indestructible.

its an amazing album.some of the songs are her best works ever.

Hard Candy excellent album, however not as good as Ray of Light, but better than Music & Confessions on a Dancefloor.
