Beyoncé: I Am . . . Sasha Fierce
This double album has two distinct halves. The first is a one-paced collection of Euro pop-tinged ballads, with the single If I Was a Boy being the best of bunch. The second, named after Beyoncé's stage persona, is much more interesting. Sweet Dreams, with its deep bass, and disturbed lyrics, is thrilling, while Video Phone startles with crunked-out backing and Beyoncé doing her best Lil' Wayne impression. This CD has been trumpeted as the singer's “career defining” collection, but it doesn't feel like it. What is clear is that with some editing, it might have been.

Personally I feel Beyonce is overrated and there are better RnB singers like Amerie. But Halo is a great track and Sweet Dreams is the best I've heard from Beyonce, with the sampling of Beat it from the great Michael Jackson helping it.

I have heard all of these songs from beyonce's new album "I Am... Sasha Fierce." I haven't heard one song on either disc that i don't like. Both disc are extraordinary. I disagree that "If I were A Boy" is the best. Smash Into You, Halo, Satellites, and others are great to me. Beyonce is the best
