What: Glyndebourne celebrates its 75th year and the anniversaries of
Handel and Purcell

What: Opera staged in the middle of a West London park
Who: Conductors from Richard Bonygne to Robert Dean City lead the City
of London Synfonia in accompanying opera singers, including Catherine Hopper
and Leonardo Capalbo, in six productions. The operas are Roberto Devereux,
Hasnsel und Gretel, La boheme, Orpheus in the Underworld, Un ballo in
maschera and Kat’a Kabanova
