Hollywood star Ewan McGregor is returning to the stage for a production of Othello at the Donmar Warehouse.
McGregor will play Shakespeare's arch villain Iago at the Donmar Warehouse from December 4.
Chiwetel Ejiofor will star in the title role while actress Kelly Reilly will play Desdemona.
McGregor commands multi-million pound fees for such roles as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars films, but he will be appearing in Othello for the Equity minimum wage of £400 a week.
The 36-year-old was signed up by Donmar Warehouse artistic director Michael Grandage.
The pair have worked together before, on the hit musical Guys And Dolls.
Othello will be the final production of the current season at the Donmar's Covent Garden home.
Previews for Othello begin on November 29 and the production will run until February 23 next year.

The obvious thing to say would be that if it was money he was after he might just as well stay in Hollywood. By being on stage in London he gets personal satisfaction and professional development. But good for him, it does show a refreshing degree of modesty. Anyway he can afford to live on it!
