Where and to whom should review copies be sent?

Please send all books and proofs to be considered for review to The Editor, The Times Literary Supplement, Times House, 1 Pennington Street, London E98 1BS. There is no need to direct the book to a particular editor; all the books are opened at a central point and then distributed to relevant editors. We no longer keep records of the books we receive: they are only logged when they are sent out for review. Please be aware that we cannot return books.

How do I submit poetry to be considered for publication?

Please send no more than six poems, in hard copy with a stamped addressed envelope, to: The Poetry Editor, The Times Literary Supplement, Times House, 1 Pennington Street, London E98 1BS. You will get a reply, but please be patient; we receive large numbers of poems for consideration.

How do I send a letter to the Editor to be considered for publication?

Send your letter to the Letters Editor at our London address, remembering to include your own address (we cannot publish letters with no address), or click on letters@the-tls.co.uk

What should I do if I have a technical problem or query, or if I have difficulties logging into the Subscriber Archive?

Email webmaster@the-tls.co.uk ,who will deal with your problem as soon as possible.

What should I do if I have a problem with my subscription?

Go to the Contact us page on the website and click on Subscription Enquiries relevant to your area; they will deal with your problem as soon as possible.

What are the guidelines for publication in the TLS?

We do not have any guidelines as such, but please be aware that the vast majority of the TLS is made up of book reviews commissioned by our editors. We occasionally publish features on writers or matters of literary interest, but we never run interviews. If you wish to be considered as a reviewer or to propose a piece for publication, please send a CV and some examples of your work to the relevant editor (ie Fiction, History, etc) as listed in the Contact us. Again, please be patient, as we receive a lot of unsolicited material.
