Big Brother contestants Carole Vincent, Shabnam Paryaniand and Tracey Barnard are up for eviction but their nominations are out of step with public opinion.
Recent additions to the house Gerry Stergiopoulos and Seany O’Kane, along with 18-year-old twins Amanda and Sam Marchant, were responsible for the nominations and they seem to have misjudged the popularity of their fellow contestants.
They might want Barnard out, but she is the favourite to win Big Brother, according to Ladbrokes.
The bookmaker gives the 36-year-old, rave-loving cleaner 6-1 odds of winning the show.
Meanwhile Vincent, 56, fails to inspire either hatred or love, surfing the middle of the odds table.
The Big Brother housemates have, however, got it right in nominating Paryani.
The 22-year-old has overtaken the initially despised Charley Uchea to become the least likely to win the eighth series of the Channel 4 show.
Ladbrokes puts her odds of winning at 100-1 while William Hill says her chances of surviving the first viewer-voted eviction are slim.
A temp receptionist from London, Paryani is desperate for fame and convinced she will become a TV presenter once she leaves the Big Brother house.
Fond of telling fellow housemates she is just on the show for “the exposure”, she appears to use the diary room as practice for a presenting career.
Her behaviour hasn’t just irritated viewers but also her fellow housemates.
In nominating Paryani, Stergiopoulos complained: "She's constantly posing… I've tried to have a decent conversation [with her but] all she talks about is being a TV presenter, star… superficial bull***t."
Sam Marchant nominated Paryani because, "She hasn't been taking on her jobs…. When we have meetings she doesn't take things into consideration.”
The first eviction was supposed to take place last week but was cancelled after Emily Parr, 19, was removed from the house for using a racially offensive word.
Lesley Brian, 60, left the house soon after, complaining she could no longer put up with the house’s hygiene, food or sleeping conditions.
There are now nine women and three men in the house, with more men expected to arrive in the coming weeks.
