They have soaked in a bath of fish remains, been kept awake for days on end and now twins Amanda and Sam Marchant have celebrated their birthday by swilling water and dining on slop.
Big Brother turned nasty last night after the 15 housemates failed the Channel 4 reality show’s latest task of staying awake for 50 hours. Their punishment for letting their drooping eyelids shut? A menu of slop and more slop until further notice.
The slop must be consumed three times a day without condiments or heating - a punishment that couldn’t have come at a more inopportune time for the Marchant twins who were hoping for a party on their 19th birthday.
In place of a feast and entertainment, the twins got to watch as arguments broke out over the latest round of eviction nominations.
In an epic shouting match, model and hair-obsessive Billi Bhatti called Charley Uchea a d*** and a b**** before blurting out that he had nominated her for eviction. The fiery Uchea retaliated and the two ended up in hot water for breaking the ban on discussing nominations. The result? Their nominations were discounted.
The dramatic vote resulted in Bhatti, Carole Vincent and Tracey Barnard receiving the most points, with one now set to leave the show on Friday.
Bookmakers Ladbrokes and William Hill both back the widely-loathed Bhatti as the most likely to be evicted.
If they’re right, the twins may well consider his Friday departure a late birthday present.
