After a storming argument with Ziggy Lichman, Chanelle Hayes has walked out of the Big Brother house.
The 19-year-old was mortified when Lichman used the classic “It’s not you, it’s me” line to end their tempestuous relationship on Sunday, and decided she wanted to leave the house.
Although she packed her suitcase and bid her fellow housemates farewell, the Victoria Beckham-obsessive was persuaded by the show’s psychologists to sleep on her decision.
But after exchanging acerbic barbs with Lichman this afternoon, she left the house without a goodybe.
The row began after Hayes heard Lichman discussing their strained relationship with other housemates.
“What have I done wrong?" Lichman asked her. "I've done nothing wrong."
"Every hour of everyday you're like, one hour 'oh Chanelle, I care about you so much' the next hour your like 'I'm not gonna f***** speak to yer'," Hayes retorted. "The hour after that you're like 'oh I really care about yer' and the hour after that you're like 'you attention seeking bitch'."
"I've never called you that," Lichman insisted, "you can make it up as you go along if you want to. I know I never said that. You know I never said that. So stop lying."
Before leaving the house, Hayes told the diary room camera: "I'm grateful to have been here for nine weeks but I'm missing my family and friends. I can't live in the same house as Zac and he probably deserves to be here more than I do.
“I'm excited to be seeing my Mum but I also feel embarrassed as I've made a fool of myself.
“Thank you for having me. I really appreciate that you've let me on to the programme."
Hayes and Lichman became a couple within days of meeting in the house, but argued endlessly and broke up twice before Lichman ended the relationship for good on Sunday.
Hayes is the third person to walk out of the Big Brother house this season. Leslie Brian, 60, left less than two weeks after entering the house, while Jonathan Durden, 49, left after learning of his grandmother’s death.
