There were no surprises last night when the Big Brother nominations revealed that the newest housemates were up for eviction.
Amy Alexandra, Jonty Stern and Kara-Louise Horne, who all joined the Channel 4 show as “halfway housemates” 12 days ago, face the axe on Friday.
Pink-obsessed twins Sam and Amanda Marchant are also up for eviction, after Big Brother decreed they must face the public vote.
Still, the twins are unlikely to leave the house. Bookmakers say the Marchants are the least likely to be evicted while glamour model Alexandra Alexandra is the favourite to go.
But while the public may want Alexandra out, it is Horne that the housemates can live without. The 22-year-old received six nominations while Stern and Alexandra received five.
Liam summed up the house’s feeling as he nominated Horne, saying: “She's not really exciting.”
Comments about Alexandra and Stern were less benign. The housemates believe Alexandra comes across as fake and that Stern’s puerile sense of humour have become agonising. As Gerry put it: “Watching a 37 year old man talking to bears and farting, it's all a little too much for me”.
