Big Brother contestants Jennifer Clark and Rex Newmark face eviction after their fellow housemates nominated them last night for Friday’s public vote.
Surprised to hear her name called, Jennifer, 22, who received six votes, reasoned: “Well, that's what happens when you speak your mind.”
Bookmakers say the part-time model is the favourite to leave, with her departure set to end a Big Brother love triangle. The mother of one was on the verge of igniting a romance with DJ Dale Howard before property developer Stuart Pilkington made a late entrance to the house, establishing an uncomfortable triangle.
Rex, a London chef who was nominated by six housemates, has irritated contestants since the Channel 4 series began.
Nominating the 24-year-old, Luke Marsden commented: “The guy is an utter control freak.”
The public will be taking sides in an ongoing argument when they vote. Rex and Jennifer started the battle that saw dancer Dennis McHugh removed from the house for spitting last week. Rex smeared a painting of Jennifer’s, sending her into dramatic floods of tears. After he apologised, Mohamed Mohamed defended his friend and Jennifer’s pal Dennis spat in his face.
Despite Dennis' departure, last week’s eviction went ahead and Sylvia Barrie was voted off the show.
Following Friday's eviction 12 contestants will be left to battle it out for the £100,000 prize in the Big Brother house.
