After less than two weeks in the house, Big Brother contestant Belinda Harris-Reid faces eviction from the Channel 4 show thanks to her deafening snore.
Housemates chose the new arrival to face the public vote after complaining they couldn’t cope with the amount of nocturnal noise generated by the theatre director.
Chef Rex Newmark will join her in facing Friday’s public vote, after housemates nominated him, complaining he was arrogant and mean.
Rex, who described Belinda’s snoring as “ridiculous”, was accused of having a "really sarcastic nasty manner" by Lisa Appleton.
Rebecca Shiner told Big Brother: "I really get on with Rex but I find it hard to live with him… He's got a big head".
But Rex’s most surprising nomination came from his pal, Darnell Swallow.
Nominating him, the songwriter explained: "He is my friend so this is a betrayal. I'm a backstabbing bast**d, but he totally doesn't want to be here.
“To him it's boring and he just wants to see his girlfriend and there are people who would have really wanted to be here".
Rex, who last night confessed he spends £100 a day on taking his girlfriend to lunch and dinner, has survived one previous eviction, after Jennifer Clark was voted out ahead of him.
But while housemates have continually nominated him, the public feel differently. Ladbrokes put his odds of winning at 20/1, higher than half of the other housemates. The bookmaker says Thai massage therapist Kathreya Kasisopa is favourite to win while Belinda sits at the bottom of their table.
