Big Brother has surprised housemates by announcing three contestants, rather than the usual two, will face the public vote on Friday.
Darnell Swallow, Mohamed Mohamed and Rebecca Shiner were nominated for eviction from the Channel 4 show by their fellow housemates, who complained they no longer wished to live with the threesome.
Darnell, previously a favourite, was shocked to find his behaviour while head of the house in the heaven and hell task had had such an effect on his popularity.
Nominating the songwriter, Luke Marsden said: "As I wanted, I knew and as I expected he screwed up being head of house.”
More surprising was Darnell’s nomination by former friend Dale Howard. He described their relationship as “fast deteriorating” and said: “He’s my best mate in the house but I really can't see me speaking to him again".
Mohamed, often nominated by fellow contestants, was criticised for his now infamous eating habits. Nominating the toy demonstrator, Dale commented: “He's greedy, he's lazy and he's a dick."
Mohamed said that Rebecca, who has formed a close relationship with Luke, was “filthy, leaving all her dirty stuff anywhere,” while Rachel Rice said the nursery nurse always had a problem “when wasn’t the centre of attention”.
But bookmakers predict Rebecca’s attention-grabbing behaviour won’t be enough to see her leave the house on Friday. William Hill says Mohammed is currently the least favourite housemate.
