Model Maysoon Shaladi has walked out of the Big Brother house after saying she had never settled into life on the Channel 4 reality show.
Last night, she entered the Diary Room and told Big Brother she wanted to pack her suitcases. The 28-year-old was told to think it over, but she returned at 9.06pm and reiterated that she wanted to leave.
Emerging from the Diary Room she joined Rachel Rice, Sara Folino and Kathreya Kasisopa to tell them of her decision.
"They asked me loads of questions. I never really got one hundred per cent comfortable in the house."
"It was hard for us coming in halfway through, people already have their friends," said Sara, who entered the house four weeks ago as a late arrival with Maysoon.
"I'm happy with the month I did. I wouldn't change it," Maysoon added.
"What happened?" asked Kat. "I really like you!"
"We don't want you to go May," said Rachel.
"You'll miss out on an eviction," said Sara.
"You make the decision. I know it's best for you. You cheer me up a lot," said Kat.
Maysoon sighed: "Last week was my favourite week. Even in Hell."
"Are you sure you won't regret it, when you watch it on TV?" asked Rachel.
“No,No," replied Maysoon, "I want to watch you guys."
Maysoon has been a quiet presence in the house since she arrived. Over the past few days, she has been mocked by Rex Newmark about her audition tape. The chef said she had come across as stuck-up.
Viewers who voted to evict her on Friday will be offered a refund.
