Charles Jencks, the architectural historian, and Archigram’s Sir Peter Cook lead this afternoon event remembering the great Midwest architect who created shapes with found materials from turkey feathers to cooking pans.

To show us what plans for turning Exhibition Road into a shared space between pedestrians and motorists really mean, the road will be transformed for the day.

Expect pavilions by stars such as Norman Foster, entertainingly converted buses by students from the Royal College of Art, and nerves in shreds.
