Enter our Snapshots of Summer photography competition
The street artist Banksy has struck again, with a mural that appears to show a girl being pulled into a cash machine by a robotic arm.
The image, which may be a comment on high street banks making record profits, has appeared in a bricked-up window on Exmouth Market, Finsbury, North London.
Banksy’s work has become increasingly sought-after. The Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie reportedly spent more than £200,000 on his work at a Los Angeles sale last year.

Shows how far behind the media is, that piece has been there for months and months, i know because I pass it everyday on the way to work!?!

they don't want the truth. they want rubbish, false stories. otherwise they would check their facts with people who know. The story probably has no photo because it costs them money to print photos, but costs them little to use a false, syndicated story.
m, staines,
Umm, that 'new' Banksy piece is approximately four years old. My friend lives in the flat above and we watched it happen. It used to have 'Princess Diana' Banksy money spitting out of it but that all got umm 'borrowed'. He then came back and painted the arm... it is anything but new.
Banksy 'bricked up' the section of the wall himself. It was not a window.

I walk past it every day - its been there for years
matt, london,
That mural has been there for several years, since 2001 or so. It's one of the earliest Banksy murals. Do keep up.

Seems strange to have this story without an image.

Contrary to the many newspaper reports today, I live near Exmouth Market and can assure you that this Banksy is not new it has been there for 1-2 years!!
April, London ,
It's been there for at least a year. Pass it on the no.38 bus every day.
Hardly breaking news.
