FILM Venus How’s this for a different type of romantic comedy: old actor (Peter O’Toole), with prostate cancer, impotence and sex on the brain, falls for sexy young chavette (Jodie Whittaker)? ART Renoir Landscapes Said to be the first serious look at his landscapes, this exhibition concentrates on the period between Renoir’s beginnings in the 1860s and his travels in the 1880s to places as different as North Africa and Guernsey.
