Madonna’s enduring appeal was shown when she signed a £60m deal with the Live Nation entertainment group last year. Although the 49-year-old singer and Ritchie, her film director husband, have a £7m Mayfair residence, she has complained about London’s congested streets so may be spending more time at her homes in New York, Beverly Hills and Wiltshire. Earnings from recent tours and the sale of her stake in Maverick Records to Warner Music Group lift Madonna and 39-year-old Ritchie to £300m this year.
