The problem: My sister is getting married for the third time this summer. She did white the first time, scarlet the second. What would be best this time?

The solution: We applaud your sister's optimism and energy. Finding THE dress is exhausting enough once. Repeating the whole exercise in scarlet is really going for it.

First some basic rules. Apart from avoiding white (a harsh colour at the best of times) and scarlet (been there, done that), the only colour constraint she's under is to find one that suits her best. As a brunette, she can take strong colours, and these will look much more chic than a wishy-washy pastel.
